Blackrock Sauna is a seaside sauna on Salthill Promenade in Galway, set right beside the landmark Blackrock Diving Tower on the edge of Galway Bay. The cedar-lined sauna looks out over the Atlantic through big picture windows — an ideal way to warm up and recover after a swim in the sea, or simply to slow down and take in the coast. Sessions run 50 minutes and are booked online. Open daily, with hours varying by day: from 7am on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and from 10am the rest of the week, closing at 10pm each day. Bring swimwear and a towel.
